Without CHANGE there is no innovation, creativity, or incentive for improvement. According to Winston Churchill .. 'To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.'
The most difficult aspect of choosing to change has little to do with getting the right concept, good strategy, or even a step-by-step guide. It relies on our readiness to change and our willingness to do whatever it takes to create real change. There is NO secret formula, NO magic pills, and NO shortcut.
Change for most of us is about getting something better, which is based on our judgment of what isn’t good enough. Unfortunately, this way of being will not produce real change. The reason is in the mindset. For example, most New Year’s resolutions don’t produce real change because most of us don’t take action required to create real change. Instead, we try to create change based on wishful thinking, which is often not based on a true readiness to change.
You see, our commitment and our choice to change are what produce the real change we desire. That’s how we make a difference in our life. No magic receipt, no training, and no book can give you the “formula” — the magic ingredient lies within ourselves, our commitment, and our choice, our willingness to change. We are the source for creating the change we desire. But we have to be willing to be this source. All it takes is for us to choose.
Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking. .... Marcus Aurelius
